UPchieve’s unique model and low cost per student makes it possible to scale free tutoring and college counseling to every student who needs it. The free services we provide are proven to change students’ lives in three key ways:
IMPROVE GRADES AND TEST SCORES
We help students understand concepts, complete assignments, and earn grades that open doors to higher education and scholarships.
Build foundational mindsets for success
Our coaching is designed to build a student’s self-confidence and motivation to succeed in middle school, high school, college, and beyond.
Craft college applications that rise above the crowd
We help students identify best-fit colleges, craft strong applications, and write compelling essays that help them get into their dream college.
Reaching the most underserved students in the U.S.
UPchieve is only available to students in the U.S. who attend Title 1 middle and high schools or live in low-income neighborhoods. Beyond our eligibility criteria, UPchieve strives to reach students who face the greatest barriers to accessing academic support in their communities and homes.
Using UPchieve 9 times caused student test scores to meaningfully increase.
A recent randomized controlled trial study found that after an average of 9 sessions, students improved their scores on Star Math, a national math assessment, by approximately 9 percentile rank points or .23 standard deviations.
