UPchieve FAQs

What is UPchieve? +

UPchieve is an edtech nonprofit that provides free, 24/7 online tutoring and college counseling to help middle and high school students in the United States. We’re on a mission to democratize academic support because all students should have an equal opportunity to succeed and achieve upward mobility regardless of whether they can afford a tutor or not.

Using our website or mobile app, students can request and get paired with a live, volunteer tutor in under 5 minutes. So far, we’ve matched 100,000+ on-demand tutoring requests from 30,000+ students across all 50 states. Our work has been recognized by Forbes and TIME.
