Coming together to address educational inequity

Verizon Case Study

We can’t achieve our vision of reaching all 8 million low-income high school students without our corporate partners. Partnerships give us the funding and volunteers needed to reach more students. Our partnership with Verizon is an example of how companies and nonprofits can come together to help low-income students succeed.

Verizon has mobilized thousands of their employees to fight learning loss during COVID-19 through our Academic Coach volunteer opportunity. We work closely with Verizon to leverage tactics like strategic communications, grassroots engagement and interactive presentations to boost sign-ups.
